A preliminary report on a deadly plane crash in Brown County says the pilot raised concerns earlier in the day about the wet turf runway at the airfield.
John Fiddelke was killed when his plane went down on Dutchman Road in the Town of Ledgeview. The runway runs along the road.
Fiddelke hit a pickup truck, and the driver, Patrick Schounard, died a few days later.
