Habitat for Humanity is using a unique fundraising drive to help pay for the latest home in Appleton.
Amy McGowan of the Greater Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity says they partnered with Briess Malt and Ingredients in Chilton, and six local breweries. She says Briess donated 4,000 pounds of malt, and each brewery created a beer. She says $3 from every pint goes toward the home.
McGowan says the goal is to raise about $35,000.
Habitat dedicated the new house today. It’s on S. Pierce Avenue, west of downtown Appleton.
