Students at St. Norbert College in De Pere are protesting the upcoming departure of the school’s president.
Last week, Brian Bruess announced that he’ll leave the school when his contract is up next summer.
Senior Amy Stel believes members of the Board of Trustees could be pushing Bruess out the door. The students are calling for more transparency about what might have led to the president’s decision.
There’s a petition, with about 2,300 signatures, asking the school to keep Bruess.
Bruess didn’t comment on the protest.
