Drivers are paying less for gas.
Nick Jarmusz from AAA Wisconsin says prices are around $2.31 a gallon in Appleton. He says that’s down three cents from a week ago, and 13 cents from last month. A year ago, prices were about a quarter higher.
Jarmusz thinks the cold weather is keeping people from traveling, so supplies are strong. And he says refineries are running at 90-plus percent capacity.
He believes prices will continue to drop through the rest of the month.
