Kids take to the streets of Appleton to bring attention to homelessness among their peers.
“Youth on the Move” was organized by the Boys and Girls Club of the Fox Valley.
Homeless Youth Director Katie Van Goll says most people are unaware that more than 240 kids in Appleton don’t have a permanent place to live.
The Trout Museum of Art was was lit in green light over the weekend representing youth homelessness.
The Boys and Girls Club plans to make “Youth on the Move” an annual November event.
