The state justice department is releasing the name of the man shot by police in Fox Crossing last week.
Investigators say 35-year-old Michael Jolly came out of a house with a gun. They say one officer from Fox Crossing, and another from Neenah, shot Jolly, after he didn’t listen to their commands. Jolly died at a Neenah hospital.
Police were called to the home in the 900 block of Clover Street, off Appleton Road, for a report of a suicidal person.
