Now that work is done on the expansion of Highway 441 through the Fox Cities, the DOT’s focus will return to I-41 next spring.
Crews will be replacing railings along four overpasses in the Appleton area, between Lynndale Avenue and Richmond Street in April, May, and June.
Project Manager Tom Buchholz tells Dave Edwards on AM Fox Valley only one lane will be open while they’re working. He says drivers will want to find another way to get to work.
Highway 441 will be the recommended detour route during next year’s overpass work.
