The Winnegamie Dog Club in Menasha will not be designated as a “blighted area”. Menasha Mayor Don Merkes says he will recommend the city’s Redevelopment Authority remove the property on Manitowoc Road from a list of recommended properties for a blight designation. Merkes adds that the city will still look for ways to redevelop the area around the Dog Club. The club called the decision a “victory” on their Facebook page.
