Native Americans led a protest outside of Lambeau Field at yesterday’s Packers game to call on the Washington Redskins to change their name.
Chris Munson believes it’s disrespectful. She says the term dates back to an era when people were paid for the scalps of dead Indians.
Washington’s team has had the Redskins name for more than 80 years.
The Oneida Nation also ran a special commercial on the video boards, during the game, to showcase tribal members and what they do.
