There’s a coyote roaming around a neighborhood, east of Kaukauna High School, and police are trying to catch the animal.
Asst. Chief Brad Sanderfoot says the coyote is acting strangely, and it could be sick or hurt. He says the DNR is recommending euthanizing it, and he expects some people will be upset.
He believes there would be complaints about moving it to another location too. Sanderfoot says it’s a tough situation.
The coyote is sitting on porches, at homes in the Olde Country Circle area. Police are talking with some animal control companies, in hopes of trapping the coyote humanely.
