A poll on the presidential race shows a wide range of Democratic candidates might have a chance in Wisconsin against President Trump.
Marquette University Poll Director Charles Franklin says they decided to ask about Cory Booker. He’s one of several Democrats in the race that are consistently in the single digits in national polls.
Franklin says Booker trailed President Trump, 44 to 43 percent. He believes that’s partly because partisan splits are so strong now, that the race could be competitive, regardless of the candidate.
Franklin says they found Democrats are also happy with a number of candidates. He says 65 percent report they could change their mind, and support another Democrat.
Joe Biden was the only Democrat to lead Trump in head-to-head match-ups, with Biden ahead by one point. Franklin says the races between the president and other leading Democrats tightened from last month.
