The federal government is extending the deadline to get health insurance.
Trish Sarvela of the Partnership Community Health Center says there were some technical problems over the weekend, leading up to Sunday’s original deadline.
She says they’ve helped a variety of people so far this year. They include people renewing their plan or switching to another, and new customers coming forward to get coverage.
The new deadline to sign up at the healthcare.gov website is 2 a.m. on Wednesday.
