Remember the whole pre-crime thing from the movie ‘Minority Report‘? So, police would get a precognitive alert from telepaths/pre-cogs before a crime was committed and then Tom Cruise would go and arrest the person about to commit the crime. Until he committed a murder that he didn’t yet commit… I know…. and let’s not get into the whole,”Is it a crime if it wasn’t even committed…yet?” argument. What we have here is a guy from Riverside, California who sat down to have his likeness characterized by a local street artist. But at the end of the session he grabs a bag from the artist and $500 in cash and takes off. But in his haste he left behind his caricature. Sure the features are exaggerated but it give authorities a pretty good starting place…or face in this case.
