The Salvation Army Fox Cities needs a strong finish to reach its goal of $1.1 million for the red kettle campaign.
Spokeswoman Kristal Knudtson says donations are down 13 percent from last year. She says the money goes toward a variety of programs, including their emergency food pantry and noon meals. She says they’ll really be in a bind if they don’t get to their goal.
She’s hoping three matching days will help. Kimberly-Clark is matching up to $5,000 today. The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region will match up to $34,000 on Friday. The We Energies Foundation is offering a $5,000 match on Christmas Eve.
