The Appleton school board will consider holding a referendum for building projects.
A special committee spent several months looking at needs, and came up with four options.
District Chief Financial Officer Greg Hartjes says they could build a K-5 school and move sixth graders to the middle schools. He says another possibility would be to build a K-5 school and a new middle school, while also moving sixth graders to middle school.
The other possibilities are a new K-6 school or a K-8 school.
The new school, or schools, would go on district-owned land by Appleton North High School.
Hartjes says all of the options include renovations at the elementary schools, expansions at the middle schools, and projects at the high schools.
The costs range from $88 million to $125 million.
