The owner of a shop in downtown Green Bay is fine with raising the minimum age to buy tobacco and vaping products to 21.
President Trump signed a spending bill that includes the change, and it will take effect next summer.
Steve Liebert runs Bosse’s News and Tobacco, and he describes it as an old-fashioned tobacco shop, and many of their customers are older.
Matt Myers of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids says federal officials need to crack down on the products that are highly attractive to kids. He says they should ban flavored e-cigarette products. He believes they’re behind a vaping epidemic among young people.
