Appleton police are following up on a large police presence on the north side yesterday.
Officer Megan Cash says a crime didn’t happen and no arrests were made.
She says officers went to the 3100 block of North Lawe Street around 5 p.m. for a report of a woman being held against her will.
Cash says a phone call to the alleged suspect and follow-up interviews with the man and the alleged victim showed a crime was not committed.
