Governor Evers is giving lawmakers “homework” for the year.
He’s a former teacher, and state superintendent of schools.
Evers sent a letter to legislative leaders today, asking them to work together on a number of issues. They include spending more money to fight homelessness, restricting the use of PFAS, and closing the dark-store loophole.
Majority Republicans in the Legislature are only scheduled to be in session for a handful of days.
