An Appleton man is in the Winnebago County Jail on child pornography charges.
Police Officer Meghan Cash says 54-year-old Richard Cook was arrested yesterday at a home on the south side. He could face 20 counts.
She says the case stands out because Cook was using several social media platforms, like Facebook, and others that are only used by people to share child porn.
Cash says investigators don’t believe Cook was involved in producing child pornography.
