The race for Appleton mayor is now down to eight candidates.
Three of the 11 people that filed paperwork didn’t have enough valid signatures to be on the ballot. They’re Christian Pitsch, Jeremy Scholz, and Christopher Washburn.
Every candidate had to turn in at least 200 valid signatures.
The primary will be on February 18th. The top two finishers will meet in the April 7th election.
