Shoplifters are getting more and more efficient thanks to new tech. In this case, ‘hover shoes’.
The shoplifter ‘hover’d’ around a Walmart in Winterhaven, Florida, filled up his cart with $551 worth of random items; paint, a trash can, a car battery, a bouquet of flowers, a Roku TV, and a hoverboard. Because (just spit-balling here) he wanted to bring in an accomplice into his hover-lifting ring or a spare board in case his hover shoes blow up – as they are prone to do.
Either way he just rolled out the door and tossed his ill-gotten gains into a car and fled.
