The DNR is at least talking about adding 10 days to the gun-deer season.
The idea will be part of the annual Conservation Congress hearings on April 13th.
DNR Wildlife Administrator Scott Loomans points out Wisconsin’s nine-day season is the shortest in the nation.
Other possible changes include eliminating the December anterless hunt, and banning hunting in the days before the gun-deer season.
Gun-deer license sales have dropped by 20 percent over the past 25 years.
