The Appleton man accused of running from police, and trying to grab an officer’s gun, is out on bond.
Twenty-six-year-old Deandre Rembert is facing three felony charges after he was arrested last Thursday on the city’s north side. He posted a $3,000 bond today.
Appleton police used a K-9 to take Rembert into custody, and he was treated at a hospital for a dog bite. They say he also tried to get away when officers were bringing him from the hospital to jail.
They say he ran from police two other times, as well.
Rembert is scheduled to be back in court on January 31st. He can’t use alcohol or drugs while he’s on bond, and the county can give him random tests.
