A group of bystanders did much, much more than stand by. The group saved a woman that was hit by an SUV while crossing the street on the lower East side in New York.
The woman was trapped under the SUV and quick-thinking citizens turned a potentially tragic situation into a feel-good story.
Miraculously, the woman walked away with no broken bones.
Teamwork makin’ the dream work.
Just now at Delancey and Norfolk in the Lower East Side an accident ran over a pedestrian trapping them under an SUV. Onlookers just lifted the SUV, dragging the victim out. pic.twitter.com/uq1IHcSJ9k
