A group says Wisconsin lawmakers haven’t done much over the past decade in the fight against tobacco.
The American Lung Association is giving the state mostly D’s and F’s in this year’s report card.
Spokeswoman Dona Wininsky says wants to raise the tax on vaping products to make it harder for teens to get them. She says the cigarette tax is $2.52 per pack. For vaping products, it’s only three cents for an amount with the same amount of nicotine.
Wininsky also thinks the state should ban all vaping flavors, and add e-cigarettes to the state’s smoking ban.
