There are more than 1,500 bald eagle nests across the state, and a new map shows how the bird continues to bounce back.
The DNR says 45 years ago, there were more than 50 of them, and they were mostly in northern Wisconsin. Now, there are confirmed nests in every county in the state, except Milwaukee County.
Conservation groups say the ban on D.D.T. and the federal Clean Water Act are helping with the recovery.
