Don’t count Governor Evers as a fan of the Iowa caucus system.
He thinks people should just be able to go and cast a ballot for their favorite, instead of having to go to a caucus site.
The governor believes it suppresses voters. He wonders how many parents with young children are able to leave the house for four hours to talk about the candidates before they pick one.
Evers is also questioning Iowa’s “first in the nation” status in picking presidential nominees.
