Kimberly and Little Chute are ending their joint library system at the end of the year.
Each village board unanimously agreed to a timeline this week.
Little Chute Administrator James Felon doesn’t think the communities will notice a difference. Both villages have their own library in their downtown.
The two villages have been talking about a split for a few years. Fenlon says there were issues with the cost-sharing formula that they couldn’t work out.
