A military veteran is hoping to be Appleton’s next mayor.
Eric Beach will be one of eight candidates in the February 18th primary. He spent six years on active duty in the Army, and 15 years working for the Wisconsin National Guard. Beach says he helped run a Guard battalion.
He says he got in the race for mayor because he loves having positive impacts on people’s lives, and finding ways to improve situations.
Beach says fiscal responsibility, providing the best-possible services, and adding affordable housing are some of his top priorities.
