A close call along Highway 41, north of Green Bay, is leading Brown County Sheriff’s deputies to again urge drivers to slow down around emergency crews.
Lt. John Bain says a minivan spun around and almost slammed into a tow truck, after the snowstorm last Sunday night. He says that makes people cringe.
They were helping pull a car out of a ditch.
Bain says situations like that strike more fear into officers than a lot of other calls. He says they don’t have any control over whether a random driver is paying attention, or will slow down.
