The DNR is going to take the down the observation tower at Potawatomi State Park.
The agency says three separate studies found significant wood rot and decay on the 75-foot tower in Door County. It was built almost 90 years ago.
The DNR closed it in the spring of 2018. The agency says staffers are working with partners to look at future opportunities.
