Appleton police have a 44-year-old man in custody on possible charges of sexual assault of a child and child pornography.
Officer Meghan Cash says Troy Meyer of Appleton was arrested at his south side home yesterday, after a recent cyber tip that he was sharing child pornography through social media.
She says they searched his house, and found video of Meyer sexually assaulting a child. Cash says Meyer and the victim know each other.
Meyer is in the Calumet County jail. The possible charges include two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child, and six counts of possession of child pornography.
