A therapy dog program is looking for more volunteers to help ThedaCare hospital and hospice patients.
Canine Comfort owner Molly Johnson says they have about 40 volunteers right now, but they want more to fill the need. She says ThedaCare will pay for the training for the dog owners.
Johnson says dogs don’t need to be trained, but they do need to be comfortable in a variety of situations. She says that includes loving being around people, and other dogs.
