Green Bay police arrested an 18-year-old man for using counterfeit money, and they’re crediting the quick thinking of fast-food workers.
They say the suspect was trying to use a fake $100 bill in the drive thru, at a place on the east side, around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. They say the workers were able to stall the driver until police got there.
Police say they’ve had 13 complaints about counterfeit money, since the beginning of the year.
