A fate of several high-profile bills are hanging in the balance, now that the Assembly finished meeting for the year.
They include a ban on vaping for anyone under 21, and a proposal to let bars in Milwaukee stay open until 4 a.m. during the Democratic National Convention. The Assembly approved them, but the Senate hasn’t taken them up.
Other bills are headed to Governor Evers, and he could veto some, including the GOP tax cut plan and several “tough-on-crime” proposals.
