Green Bay officials are encouraging people living along the East River to prepare for potential flooding again this spring.
Water levels on Lake Michigan are still at an all-time high, and the snow hasn’t melted yet.
Assistant City Engineer Matt Heckenlaible says those on the east side should take steps now.
The city of Green Bay is selling sandbags at 65 cents each, with free delivery.
Officials hope there will be a more gradual thaw this spring, and lessen the flood risk in March and April.
