Passengers at Austin Straubel International Airport won’t have to take their coats on their plane with them anymore.
The airport in the Green Bay area is following Milwaukee’s lead, and offering a coat check service.
Airport Director Marty Piette says it costs $2 a day, and the maximum charge is $10. He says people can drop off their coats, at the Air Host Grill restaurant.
It’s been pretty popular, at Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport. Piette says they’ve received some calls from people asking about the possibility of having it at Austin Straubel too. He says they’ll definitely offer it this month, and likely into April.
The coats are individually bagged, and they’re stored in the back offices of the restaurant.
