Drivers that use the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge in downtown Green Bay will have to find a different way to get around for the rest of the month.
Public Works Director Steve Grenier says crews are replacing the parts that keep the bridge closed tight. He says the Main Street bridge has been there for 22 years, and they need to do some maintenance work.
The project is expected to be done in three weeks. That’s just in time for the shipping season to pick up in Green Bay.
