The coronavirus is affecting businesses across the country and northeast Wisconsin (literally) isn’t immune. Personal and public events are being rescheduled or cancelled and businesses are having to alter how work is getting accomplished. This includes 105.7 WAPL, who is making their airstaff work at home for the forseeable future. But while the station rocks on, the staff isn’t sitting idly by.
The WAPL Airstaff has been using social media and this website to diligently update the public about the effects of the pandemic – including prompt updates of postponements and cancellations – as well as continuing to find humor in these troubling times. Even our own Ross Maxwell is providing daily video updates each morning from his “bunker”.
WAPL will run without an airstaff for the time being but will monitor the COVID-19 situation closely. Meanwhile, follow the station here for news updates as well as the 105.7 WAPL Facebook page and our respective Twitter and Instagram accounts. Meanwhile, you can follow Ross’ daily CoronaViction updates on this page.
