There’s a call for blood donors during the coronavirus pandemic.
John Hagins of the Community Blood Center says they have additional screenings in place, including questions about travel.
He says they’re also taking more steps, beyond what they always do to have a clean environment at their facilities. That includes more sanitizing procedures.
Hagins says they need blood for transfusions. If someone donates today, the blood would be ready by the middle of the week.
