Wisconsin schools won’t have to make up the instructional time lost to the mandatory coronavirus shut down.
The state Department of Public Instruction is waiving minimum classroom hours for this school year. Districts will have to apply for a waiver, and it will be expedited.
Many districts are planning to have online learning, and the state counts that toward the minimum hours.
