The Rolling Stones are the latest band to announce a postponement of their upcoming tour due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.
Postponed dates include the band’s May 16 stop in Minneapolis.
In a statement posted to Twitter from Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood, the band said:
“We’re hugely disappointed to have to postpone the tour. We are sorry to all the fans who were looking forward to it as much as we are, but the health and safety of everyone has to take priority. We will all get through this together–and we’ll see you very soon.”
Tour promoters AEG Presents and Concerts West are asking ticket holders for the Stones’ “No Filter Tour” to keep their original tickets and await further information.
