Sheriff’s departments are taking steps to try to keep coronavirus from spreading to their inmates.
Brown County deputies are now screening all new inmates, and Lt. Scott Brisbane says they’re putting them in quarantine for 14 days.
After the 14 days, Brisbane says the inmates can join the general population.
Local jails and the state prisons also have strict limits on visitors.
