The Oshkosh school district is asking for donations to pay for meals for non-students.
Schools are handing out pre-packed meals for lunch and breakfast, and federal funding covers the cost for students. But district administrators say some younger children, and parents or guardians also need those meals. They don’t want to see students dividing their food for other people.
