Many areas of our economy are really taking an unimaginable hit due to the coronavirus but certain sectors are actually thriving – including sex toys and condoms.
Sex toy sales have increased at least 50% in certain affected ares of the country and world. According to the figures, the countries where the sales of sex toys has increased coincide with where there have been the main outbreaks of the coronavirus – 60% higher sales in Italy, 40% in France and 71% in Hong Kong.
Also condoms seem to be a hot item as stay-in-place quarantines take hold in affected areas. Condoms sales are …ahem… rising… as people still want to get it on but not get infected at the same time. But that’s now causing a drain (or resvoir tip) on our country’s strategic prophylactic supply.
Sure, with herpes you’ll ‘raw dog’ it but Covid19 is your line in the sand, huh?
