The head of the Brown County public works department thinks it’s a good time to move up some road construction projects.
Director Paul Fontecchio says not as many people will be impacted with many businesses closed.
Starting Monday, the intersection of Lime Kiln Road and Allouez Avenue in Bellevue will be closed for about two weeks. Fontecchio says they thought they’d try to make the most of the shutdowns, so they’re not impacting people twice.
Once they’re done with the Bellevue intersection, he says they’ll start working in Howard, at the corner of Cardinal Lane and Riverview Drive. That project should start April 6th.
