Brown County investigators say a body was found inside a woman’s car, at the same time they were searching for a five-year-old boy with disabilities.
Twenty-six-year-old Sagal Hussein of Howard is in custody on forgery charges, while deputies wait for the body to be identified. She’s in custody on a $500,000 bond.
They’ve been working with Child Protective Services to look for Josias Marquez since late January. They say Hussein repeatedly told them the boy was with his father.
Investigators started working on the case in late January, when a neighbor reported a six-year-old and a two-year-old were outside, unsupervized, and they didn’t know where their mother was.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Department is asking people to call investigators, if they’ve seen Josias Marquez since November 25, 2019.
