Dave Grohl retold the story about jamming with Prince on his Dave’s True Stories Instagram.
It’s a tale he’s shared on various talk shows and interviews over the years — especially after Prince’s death — about how he ended up doing a private jam with Prince and his band at the Forum in 2011. Read the full tale below on his Instagram.
Grohl and Foo Fighters will appear on Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince, which airs April 21st on CBS. They do their cover of “Darling Nikki” for the show. As part of the taping, Grohl retold the story, which you can watch above.
The only thing that story needs is some pancakes and basketball to be truly legendary.
