The state is reporting 3,428 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin.
That’s an increase of three percent from yesterday’s total of 3,341.
Department of Health Services Secretary Andrea Palm says the recent numbers show that Wisconsin is flattening the curve, and the “safer at home” order is working.
There have now been 154 deaths in the state, and that’s 10 more than yesterday. The hospitalization rate for confirmed cases is 29 percent.
Brown County has nine new confirmed cases, for a total of 77. Fond du Lac has three more, and 57 overall.
Calumet (5) and Kewaunee (4) each added one new case. Green Lake County has its first confirmed case.
The numbers stayed the same in the other local counties — Outagamie (29), Winnebago (27), Shawano (5), Waupaca (4), Manitowoc (3), and Oconto (3).
