Governor Evers has a plan to reopen businesses.
His “Badger Bounce Back” proposal is partially based on President Trump’s guidelines that were released last week.
Right now, Evers says the state doesn’t meet the criteria. He says the state will need to see a decline in flu-like illnesses and coronavirus symptoms over a 14-day period.
Evers is setting a goal of having 85,000 tests per week, or about 12,000 a day. He also wants to have enough contract tracing in place to make sure anyone testing positive is interviewed within a day, and their contacts within 48 hours.
